Quickstop Partners with Primary Schools across Belize

Quickstop Personal Finance Center's corporate mission is To Help People, and we strive to contribute to our country through educational assistance. With kids going back to school in person finally, our team was thrilled to help and championed an effort to partner with five primary schools throughout the country to giveaway 100 backpacks in our 2022 Back-to-School drive during the period of August 30th to September 1st.

 Each of the students nominated by their principal and administrator was gifted a backpack filled with school supplies such as: books, pens, pencils, folders and a host of other items. Our partnership this year was with the following schools:

1. St. Mary’s Primary School in Belize City

2. La Inmaculada Primary School in Orange Walk Town

3. Kuxlin School Ha Government in Belmopan

4. Los Tambos government School in San Ignacio

5. Hope Haven in San Pedro

We thank the Principals, Administrators and Teachers who took the time to identify the twenty (20) students and allowed us the opportunity to meet and distribute the backpacks.  Quickstop wishes all students everywhere a successful school year.

Quickstop Corporate Community Outreach - My Cielo Blue

On Sunday, March 15th, 2020, Quickstop's Corporate staff came together to participate in the Company’s first Community Outreach program. This was a great opportunity for employees to engage in community service, confront social issues, and learn the principles of volunteerism.

Participants had the opportunity to work alongside the owner, staff and volunteers of My Cielo Blue Senior Home Care Agency to assist in upgrading the landscape of the property.

The team took a hands-on approach with their shovels, rakes and post diggers to take on the mission of planting new trees, and expanding the garden while levelling the ground, preparing for upgrades such as a new driveway.

During this visit, the team was unable to interact any of the residents of the home due to growing concern of COVID-19 at the time. In an effort to protect residents, our team worked outdoors only, and making much more of an impact on the previous work which had been done.

The next community service project will occur after the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions end.

Quickstop Belmopan Community Outreach — at United Evergreen Gov School

On November 23rd and 24th, the Quickstop Belmopan Branch, spent most of their day at the United Evergreen Gov School, to see do their best job at Painting the schools Basketball Court, Cafeteria Shed and picnic tables as a part of our ongoing Community Outreach Program. When it’s for the community, there’s no reason not to do it.

Quickstop San Ignacio Community Outreach - Georgeville Community Center

It was a packed weekend for our Quickstop San Ignacio Team on Saturday and Sunday November 23rd and 24th respectively as they worked with the community of Georgeville to put on a fresh coat of paint on the community center as a part of our ongoing Community Outreach Program.

Quickstop Orange Walk Community Outreach - Northern Regional Hospital

Our Orange Walk Team painted and cooked up a storm for the Staff and Patients who were at Northern Regional Hospital on Sunday November 10th... Another great day as our Community Outreach continues.

It was an exciting weekend for the team at Quickstop San Pedro as they sanded and painted the picnic benches at San Pedro Roman Catholic Primary School as a part of our ongoing Community Outreach Program.
