On Sunday, March 15th, 2020, Quickstop's Corporate staff came together to participate in the Company’s first Community Outreach program. This was a great opportunity for employees to engage in community service, confront social issues, and learn the principles of volunteerism.

Participants had the opportunity to work alongside the owner, staff and volunteers of My Cielo Blue Senior Home Care Agency to assist in upgrading the landscape of the property.

The team took a hands-on approach with their shovels, rakes and post diggers to take on the mission of planting new trees, and expanding the garden while levelling the ground, preparing for upgrades such as a new driveway.

During this visit, the team was unable to interact any of the residents of the home due to growing concern of COVID-19 at the time. In an effort to protect residents, our team worked outdoors only, and making much more of an impact on the previous work which had been done.

The next community service project will occur after the COVID-19 social distancing restrictions end.
